Returning Home

My Swiss-Argentine grandfather was born in 1900 on the family ranch of La Elisa in the small town of Chazón in the province of Córdoba. He would grow up on the ranch until 1911 when he and his family returned to Geneva for his and his siblings' schooling. He was always supposed to return to Argentina to take over the ranch but due to a good deal of stubbornness and some family intrigue, he would not return until 1960.

When he did return he brought an 8 mm camera with him and filmed not only his time at the ranch but his extensive trip through South America (Please visit my YouTube Channel to view the travel videos). By a stroke of luck my father recently found the original film reels along with some other family items. He and I both felt they were a priceless record of his trip "home," and one that needed to be shared.

I feel very blessed to have this material, and consider it an honor to be able to share it with my extended family. The links for each video are below the screenshot.
